 Just 10 miles east of Snohomish, you will discover the scenic and pastoral community of Monroe. Located near the junction of the Snoqualmie and Skykomish Rivers, Monroe provides unlimited opportunities such as swimming, rafting, fishing, and other water sports.
Monroe annually hosts one of Washington's largest fairs, the Evergreen State Fair. This eleven day event runs in late August through Labor Day, where the competition for awards is serious, but the rides and entertainment are strictly for fun.
