UFO Landing Zone

Add To Itinerary

Peter Reiquam’s installation, “Landing Zone,” is at Paine Field Community Park. The16-foot-diameter aluminum disk stands on 9 foot telescoped legs and in the saucer’s middle is a blue skylight that acts as a transporter beam. Small boulders surround a flying saucer, and a large concrete “X,” in the foreground, represents a landing zone. It provides shade as well as seating on the space rock boulders embedded in pavement.
