Raising Cane Ranch

Add To Itinerary

Raising Cane Ranch is a small, family owned and operated farm located on the banks of the Snohomish River, west of the town of Snohomish. Our farm produces a wide assortment of products utilizing organic and environmentally conscious practices. We offer first and second cut hay, grass-fed beef and lamb, farm fresh eggs, and honey. Our specialty is organic raspberries, both for U-PICK, pre-picked, and at local farmers markets. Since we operate on a small scale, the availability of our products is limited. What we produce on the farm, the way we work the land and live our lives, reflect an environmental consciousness that we strongly value.

Raspberries

Raising Cane Ranch established our organic raspberry patch in the Spring of 2010. We grow Tulameen and Cascade Delight varieties of berries which are best picked in July and August. Certified organic raspberries (U-PICK, pre-picked, and frozen), containers provided, restroom, picnic tables, and parking on-site. You are welcome to come to our farm when it is open for picking. Discount pricing available for bulk purchases.

Custom Beef
Our Highland herd is 100% grass fed. In the summer they are rotated through our pastures and in the winter they eat the hay from our hayfields. They receive no antibiotics or medications and are not grain finished. They do have access to a free choice trace mineral.

Dorsett lambs
We purchase spring lambs from a local breeder and finish them on our pasture and a small daily ration of organic grain. They receive no medications and have access to trace minerals. Processing is done in late summer.

Pure Honey
We sell 100% pure and raw honey. It is never heated, so it retains all the qualities that make honey so healthy. Our bees are located in hives on site. The flavor is a mixed wild flower variety with hints of raspberry. Honey is available for purchase during the raspberry season only.
