Stained glass piece, created by Michael Kennedy in 1980. The piece was originally placed above the ramp off the main hallway, and was restored and moved to its current location at the south end of the main hallway in 2005.
The first Percent for Art purchase by the City after an Ordinance was passed in 1975 requiring one percent of capital construction projects in the City be allocated for the acquisition of visual art. Seattle artist Michael Kennedy was selected to create a piece showing the wooded hills, shoreline and water of Edmonds.
