An unnamed creek curtains 80 feet over a cliff into Boulder Creek. Take SR 530 to French Creek Road #2010, located 8 miles west of Darrington, or 20 miles east of Arlington, and turn south. At 3.6 miles from the highway, the gravel road takes a sharp turn. The Boulder Creek Trail #734 sign is at the apex of the bend. At one mile it passes above Boulder Falls, which lies in a canyon so deep that it can hardly be heard and is impossible to safely view. But, a short distance beyond, a side trail drops to the river, and several campsites. At 1.25 miles, across the river, is the first of two waterfalls tumbling off cliffs into the river. Best viewed in early spring.
