Open Up to a High-Flying Adventure…

Encounter breath-taking views and awe-inspiring innovations in Snohomish County. Take your pick from our fleet and take flight in an ultralight, helicopter, glider or hot air balloon. Or free fall if you dare to sky dive!

If aviation is your passion, Snohomish County offers four world-class aviation attractions on Paine Field in Mukilteo and Everett. Check out Paul G. Allen’s collection of vintage military aircrafts at the Flying Heritage & Combat Armor Museum, set within an expansive working hangar. At the Museum of Flight Restoration Center & Reserve Collection, watch volunteers busily restoring engines, repainting bodies and fixing up other aviation treasures, which may one day go on display at the Museum of Flight in Seattle. Historic Flight provides visitors with an opportunity to get up close and personal to a collection of the most important aircraft produced between 1927 and 1957, the “Golden Age of Aviation,” all restored and airborne again.  Check their websites for fly days and special events. Nearby is the largest building in the world, used for commercial jet aviation and production—see it for yourself on the impressive Future of Flight Aviation Center & Boeing Tour, the only tour of a commercial jet assembly plant in North America.
