by Pamela Gerke

Everett Community College, Baker Hall, Room 120
Sponsored by the Washington State Nurses Association and the EvCC Student Nursing Organization and Drama Club
This new musical by Pamela Gerke dramatizes the life of Florence Nightingale, pioneer of the nursing profession and healthcare reformer. Nightingale’s story of confronting the status quo and overcoming systemic inefficiency and brutality is both inspirational and relevant to today's issues in nursing and healthcare. This show, directed by Rachel Rene and performed by a professional theater troupe, features original music and dramatic scenes that take audiences on an emotional journey, from the drawing rooms of Victorian England to the bloody hospitals of the Crimean War.
"Nightingale" will also be performed at other venues, Feb. 15 - March 2. For more information see: HeartsHealthArts.org. Email: info@HeartsHealthArts.org
