Each month thousands of potential leisure visitors, business travelers, meeting planners, sports organizers, race directors, travel editors, and others use Snohomish.org to help plan their next trip, conference, competition, or editorial coverage. They also read, download or sign up for targeted e-newsletters, printed visitor guides, and other resources.
You can connect to this important audience by letting us know about your tourism-related event within Snohomish County. Here’s how.
Add Your Event to the Event Calendar
We choose much of our content for our newsletters, social media postings, and sales outreach efforts from this events calendar.
- Go to the Events Calendar page (http://www.snohomish.org/events-calendar) to view upcoming events and how the events are displayed.
- Click the Add An Event button to first review the information needed. Once you’re ready, complete the online form, and press the submit button. Once approved your event will be posted and available for our web visitors to see.

Free Business/Attraction Listing on Snohomish.org
Any visitor-related service or attraction in Snohomish County is eligible for a free listing on Snohomish.org. Visit www.snohomish.org/explore to see our primary categories, and if you feel your business would be a good fit, email Terry@snohomish.org.
Send Us Your Media Releases
Free Ad on Snohomish.org
Buy advertising space in our bi-annual visitor guide and get a free ad on our website. The guides are printed and distributed through our visitor information centers, mailed out in response to requests from individuals, handed out at trade shows and local events, and made available at other locations displaying tourism brochures within the region. Important Deadlines & Time Frames
Throughout the year, we produce a variety of scheduled e-newsletters and printed material for the hospitality industry, travel writers and journalists, and other special audiences.
Listed here are our regularly scheduled publications with event information submission deadlines and publication dates.
Bi-annual Visitors Guide: Printed twice a year (spring/summer and fall/winter editions) for distributions to key visitor information sites within Snohomish County, available on the website for download, and provided to visitors requesting tourism information. For the spring issue, submit events for consideration by Jan. 1; for the fall issue, submit events for consideration by July 1.
Hot Sheet: Distributed on the 1st of each month to frontline hospitality staff. Events need to be submitted no later than the 15th of the month to be considered for inclusion.
Media Key Events Hot Sheet: Distributed the third week of each month to local/regional media. Events need to be submitted no later than the 15th of the month to be considered for inclusion.
Monthly Visitor Newsletter: Distributed on the 1st of each month to visitors who have opted in to receive this newsletter. Events need to be submitted no later than the 15th of the month to be considered for inclusion.
Quarterly Visitor Newsletter: Distributed on the 15th of December, March, June, and September to visitors who have opted in to receive this newsletter. Events need to be submitted by the first of the publication month to be considered for inclusion.
Sports Quarterly: Distributed on the 15th of February, May, August, and November to sports partners in Snohomish County, as well as sports media. Events need to be submitted by the 25th of the month the month prior to publication.
Tourism Today: Distributed on the 1st of March, June, September, and December to tourism and hospitality partners in Snohomish County. Tourism news should be submitted no later than the 15th of the prior month to MediaRelations@snohomish.org to be considered for inclusion.
